Advanced electronic pressure switches
Danfoss' electronic pressure switch MEP 2000 series offers advanced control to improve safety, extend equipment lifecycles and reduce maintenance costs.
The electronic pressure switch is available in two versions. The single switch output version has customised hysteresis and time constant. It also features protection against short circuits, incorrect wiring and overloading. The dual output version includes both switch and analogue outputs. For both versions the switch is defined by the customer and pre-programmed in our factory.
Both versions can be supplied with a pulse-snubber to protect the sensor in applications exposed to cavitation, liquid hammer and pressure peaks.

BCP
The BCP type is a series of dedicated pressure switches for safety and pressure monitoring of steam and hot water boilers. The BCP incorporates a single-pole changeover microswitch where the contact position depends on the pressure in the connection port and the range set value. For installations, in which operation is particularly critical for safety reason, the use of fail-safe control is recommended.
CAS
The CAS Series consists of a series of pressure controlled switches and temperature controlled switches. In this series, special attention has been given to meeting demands for a high level of enclosure, robust and compact construction and resistance to shock and vibration. The series is suitable for use in alarm and regulation systems in factories, diesel plants, compressors, power stations and on board ships
CS
CS pressure switches have a built-in pressure operated, three-pole switch. The contact position of which depends on the pressure in the connector and the range setting and adjustable differential. The pressure switches are fitted with a manual switch that will lock the contact system in the open position independently of the pressure in the system. Pressure switches with relief valve is used in compressed air systems where pressure relief on the compressor piston before start is required. The CS is suited for automatic start and stop of air compressors and water boosters
KP / KPI
The KP and KPI pressure switches and thermostats are used for control, monitoring and alarm systems in a wide variety of industry applications. KP pressure switches are mainly used for gaseous fluid whereas KPI pressure switches are more for liquid and gaseous fluid. The products are available in IP30 enclosure as well as IP55 enclosure. The KP pressure range include special designed pressure switches and limiters for steam boilers and other heating applications. For water pump control and protection (dry run) the dual pressure switch KP44 is suitable and secure improved life time of the water pump
KPS
The KPS Series consists of a series of pressure and temperature controlled switches. In this series, special attention has been given to meeting demands for a high level of enclosure, robust and compact construction, and resistance to shock and vibration. For KPS pressure switches the position of the contacts depends on the pressure in the inlet connection and the set scale value. For KPS thermostats the position of the contacts depends on the temperature of the sensor and the set scale value. The series covers most outdoor as well as indoor application requirements and is suitable for use in monitoring alarm and control systems in factories, diesel plants, compressors, power stations and on board ships.
MBC 5000 / MBC 5100
MBC pressure switches are used in industrial and marine applications where space and reliability are the most important features. MBCs are compact pressure switches, designed according to our block design to survive in the harsh conditions known from machine rooms onboard ships. MBCs have high vibration resistance and MBC 5100 features all common marine approvals. The fixed, but low differential guarantees accurate monitoring of critical pressures. MBV test valves can be delivered as standard option for MBC.
RT
RT pressure switches incorporate a pressure controlled, single-pole change over switch where the contact position depends on the pressure in the connection port and the set value. The RT series consists of pressure switches, differential pressure switches and pressure switches for neutral zone regulation, all for general use within the industrial and marine segments. The series also covers safety pressure switches dedicated for steam boiler plants. For installations in which operation is particularly critical from safety and economic points of view, the use of fail-safe pressure switches is recommended. The use of gold-plated contacts is also recommended in such installations, provided operation involves only a few switching cycles or signal currents and voltages.
