Composite pipes
The white Danfoss FH composite pipe is 100% impervious to air, temperature resistant and highly flexible. It consists of an aluminum pipe which is covered inside and out with a Polyethylene (PE-RT) layer. All layers are permanently bonded with each other through a layer of adhesive.
The octene side chains of the molecular structure of the PE-RT give it a similar effect to that of the cross-linked PE, which provides excellent Long Term Hydrostatic Strength at high temperature without crosslinking the material.
The Danfoss FH composite pipes are manufactured in such a way that the aluminum layer prevents the pipe from going back to its original form. This makes the pipes easy to install and the aluminum core ensures a long lifetime of your floor heating installation due to oxygen tightness.
The Danfoss FH composite pipe is used, in accordance with ISO 21003
Features and benefits
- PERT/Aluminum/PERT plastic and corrosion-free
NOTE: Remember to use proper fittings - Maximum operating conditions: 95 °C and 10 bars, suitable for all heating applications
- Flexible (medium level compare to full plastic pipes), Easy to work with, single man installation process
- Aluminum layer:
- Pipe reinforcement
- Oxygen barrier
- Pipe stays in bended shape
- Thermal elongation is only 1/7 of full plastic pipes, resulting in a low expansion value
- 50 years lifetime: The most durable heating system component
