NovoCon® S Digital actuators
NovoCon® S is a high accuracy multi-functional field bus actuator.
The flow is modulated by the AB-QM valve to avoid overflow and reduce boiler and/or chiller efficiency.
The actuator with AB-QM controls water supply to fan coil units, chilled beams, induction units, small re-heaters, re-coolers, AHUs and other terminal units for zone control, where heating/chilled water is the controlled medium. Due to its accuracy, remote functionality and flow indication features, this product enables faster commissioning, easy maintenance, improved indoor comfort, increased energy savings and fair cost allocation of heat/cool energy.
The high position accuracy of the actuator, together with the pressure independent and linear characteristic of the AB-QM valve, allows NovoCon® S to be used as a flow indicator.Actuator and valve parameters are set via fieldbus. Control is via fieldbus or analog inputs.
