EKC 202A

The EKC 202A is a temperature controller designed for refrigeration applications. It is capable of receiving signals from one temperature sensor, which can be placed either in the cold air flow after the evaporator or in the warm air flow just before the evaporator. The controller manages defrosting processes, which can be either natural or electric, and can restart cooling based on time or temperature. It also supports the use of a defrost sensor for direct measurement of defrost temperature.

Features and benefits

  • Temperature Control: Receives signals from a temperature sensor to manage refrigeration.
  • Defrost Management: Supports both natural and electric defrost methods, with options for time or temperature-based restart.
  • Relay Outputs: Controller with two relay outputs, two temperature sensors and digital input.
  • Display and Adjustment: Features a display for showing temperature values and allows for set point adjustments.
  • Alarm Functions: Provides various alarm settings, including high and low temperature alarms, door alarms, and condenser temperature alarms.
  • Compressor Control: Manages compressor operation based on thermostat settings, with options for minimum on/off times and reversed relay functions.
  • Fan Control: Offers settings for fan operation during and after defrost, including delay and temperature-based start.
  • Real-Time Clock: Includes a real-time clock for scheduling defrost times, with battery backup options for power failure scenarios.
  • Data Communication: Supports data communication for remote monitoring and control.
