Instantaneous water heaters provide hot water instantaneously and only as it is needed. Danfoss offers a comprehensive range of products with different control solutions based on principles of flow, thermostatic, flow and thermostatic or electronic controlling. When you turn on a hot water tap in your home, cold water travels through a pipe into a heat exchanger in the unit. The cold water is heated in the heat exchanger via district heating water or another waterborne heat source. As a result, the water heaters deliver a constant supply of instant hot water.

EvoFlat 4.0 PRO W
The Danfoss EvoFlat 4.0 PRO W is an electronically controlled flat station designed to regulate the temperature of domestic hot water. It is particularly well-suited for use in multi-family residential buildings with central heating systems.
Equipped with an advanced electronic controller and specially developed actuator, the unit ensures precise temperature regulation, while all relevant operational data can be accessed online. Cold water and heat meters can be read and displayed simultaneously via the M-Bus interface.
This innovative solution sets new industry standards. The functional blocks are manufactured from reinforced PPS composite material, making the station lightweight and reducing internal heat emissions. The smooth internal pipe surfaces minimise the risk of deposits and blockages.
All components are assembled using advanced Click-Fit connections. In comparison to conventional stations with pipe and screw fittings, this modern connection technology eliminates the need for retightening during installation and commissioning.
Primary side
The flat station is equipped with a differential pressure regulator and a strainer. A summer bypass function maintains the supply line temperature during idle periods, ensuring a rapid response time for domestic hot water production. The bypass can be operated continuously or according to a weekly schedule.
Domestic hot water ( DHW)
Four heat exchanger sizes are available, covering capacities from 37 kW to 80 kW.
The EvoFlat 4.0 PRO W is equipped with an actuator for precise regulation of the domestic hot water temperature. This actuator adjusts the primary-side flow rate according to the hot water temperature and the tap volume.
The station incorporates an integrated differential pressure regulator on the primary side of the domestic hot water heating system, eliminating the need for hydraulic balancing between the station and the primary side.
If required, the station can be expanded with a DHW circulation set.
EvoFlat 4.0W
le module d'alimentation Danfoss EvoFlat 4,0 est particulièrement adaptée aux immeubles multi-familiaux avec production de chaleur centrale ou chauffage urbain. le module innovant établit de nouvelles normes. Il se compose de blocs fonctionnels en matériau composite PPS spécialement renforcé. Cela rend le module d'alimentation extrêmement léger et limite l’émission de chaleur interne. La surface lisse réduit les risques d’entartrage et d’obstruction.
Tous les composants sont assemblés à l’aide de nouveaux raccords encliquetables. Contrairement aux sous-stations conventionnelles avec tuyaux et raccords vissés, cette nouvelle technologie de raccordement ne nécessite aucun resserrage à effectuer lors de l’installation et de la mise en service.
Côté primaire
Le module d'alimentation est équipé de deux régulateurs de pression différentielle et d’un filtre central. Un By Pass d'été fournit une chaleur constante à la conduite d’alimentation pendant l’arrêt. Cela garantit un temps de réponse rapide pour l’ECS pendant l’été. Le By Pass d'été est régulé par thermostat.
Eau chaude sanitaire (ECS)
Quatre tailles d’échangeurs de chaleur sont disponibles pour couvrir tous les besoins, de 37 kW à 70 kW. L'Evoflat 4.0 W est équipé d’un régulateur intelligent qui régule le débit Primaire en fonction de la température de l’eau chaude sanitaire et du volume d’eau puisé. le module d'alimentation est équipé d’un régulateur de pression différentielle intégré sur le circuit primaire ECS. Cela élimine la nécessité d’un équilibrage hydraulique de le module d'alimentation. Si nécessaire, la station peut être étendue avec un kit de bouclage ECS d’eau chaude.
Termix BV E
Application
The Termix BV substation is an instantaneous water heater featuring superb heat extraction and high performance. The substation is delivered with thermostatic or automatic controls. The Termix BV is suitable for large apartment houses, sports arenas and schools, where large amounts of hot water are needed. The hot water systems are available in 7 different sizes with an output from 77-222 kW. The Termix BV unit is supplied with PU insulated heat exchangers.
Domestic hot water (DHW)
The domestic hot water is prepared in a plate heat exchanger and the temperature is regulated with thermostatic or automatic controls. The thermostatic solution is regulated with self-acting thermostatic control valves. The substations with high output are controlled with two valves connected in cascade in order to control both small and large demands for hot water in an efficient manner. The Termix BV can also be mounted with automatic controls. There is no additional pressure loss on the secondary side of the heat exchanger with a thermostatic or automatic control valve. Therefore this type of regulation can be used by low pressure in the cold water mains.
District heating (DH)
The district heating circuit is prefabricated with a flow controller with integrated control valve as well as thermometers and ball valves.
Heating (HE)
The heating circuit consists of a plate heat exchanger, safety valve, manometer, thermometers, ball valves, drain valve, air valve and circulation pump. The heating circuit is controlled with an electronic controller with an outdoor temperature sensor.
Options
Termix VVX Compact 28 can be delivered with white-lacquered steel cover and filling line between primary and secondary side.
