EvoFlat 4.0F

Danfoss EvoFlat 4.0 F station is particularly well suited for apartment buildings with central heat production or district heating supply. The innovative unit sets new standards. It consists of functional blocks made of a specially reinforced PPS composite material that limits internal heat emissions. The smooth surface of the composite section reduces the risk of deposits and clogging. All components are mounted with the newly developed Click-Fit connection, which does not require re-tightening compared to conventional stations with pipes and screw connections. The station is very light and easy to install and service thanks to good access to all components. It is delivered with an attractive black EPP cover that also ensures good thermal insulation.

Primary side (DH)
The station is equipped with two differential pressure regulators, one for DHW and one for heating, which eliminates the need for hydraulic balancing. A central strainer is installed to protect the station’s components. A thermostat-controlled summer bypass keeps the supply line warm outside the heating season or during standstill, ensuring a quick response time for domestic hot water. A fitting piece is installed that can be easily removed for installation of a heat meter, along with a sensor pocket for the heat meter’s temperature sensor. The heating supply flow pipe is additionally insulated so it does not affect the temperature of the cold water.
Heating (HE)
The station supplies radiator heating circuits with the flow temperature provided by the supply. The integrated differential pressure regulator creates optimal operating conditions. A zone valve is integrated in the return side. Time-dependent temperature control can be carried out using an optional actuator and room thermostat. Installation of a return temperature limiter is possible to ensure optimal cooling of the heat source.
Domestic hot water (DHW)
The station can be ordered with one of four sizes of heat exchangers, covering all domestic hot water needs from 37 kW up to 70 kW. The new Danfoss micro-plate heat exchangers are highly efficient and have a lower risk of blockage due to limescale formation. The station is equipped with an intelligent controller that regulates the primary-side supply based on the set domestic hot water temperature and the tapped water volume. A fitting piece is installed that can be removed for installation of a water meter. There is a return line for the cold domestic water so that the total water consumption runs through the same meter. If necessary, the station can be easily expanded with a domestic hot water circulation set. The station can, if required, be ordered with a water hammer arrestor installed on the hot water outlet.
