Akva Lux II TDv
Complete, fully insulated unit for domestic hot water and heating in direct heating systems. Features unique control technology for domestic hot water regulation. PTC2+ with energy-saving function.Suitable for supplying 1–4 dwellings.
Application
Akva Lux II TDv is a fully insulated, complete unit for heating and domestic hot water in direct heating systems, suitable for use in large single-family houses or in situations with exceptionally high domestic hot water demand.Akva Lux II TDv is also suitable for smaller properties with 2–4 apartments.
Description
Akva Lux II TDv is supplied with a domestic hot water plate heat exchanger, type XB 06H-1 26 or XB 06H-1 40, a Danfoss PTC2+ domestic hot water controller, and an FJVR thermostat for controlling the bypass/circulation temperature. It also includes a check valve on the cold water inlet, a TD controller, and a strainer. The unit can be supplied with a differential pressure controller, which receives water from the district heating side.On certain system types, the check valve is supplied with a test screw, allowing the check valve function to be checked without dismantling the unit. The unit is prepared for domestic hot water circulation. A circulation set and safety set can be ordered as optional accessories.
Water Heater
The water heater is based on a brazed, high-efficiency plate heat exchanger, type XB 06H-1, controlled by a pressure- and thermostatically controlled domestic hot water controller, Danfoss PTC2+, with an energy-saving function. This means that when domestic hot water draw-off stops, the controller closes the district heating supply. As a result, standby losses and scaling of the heat exchanger are avoided. The plate heat exchanger remains cold when no water is being drawn, resulting in very low heat loss.
Bypass (Thermostatic Bypass)
The unit is supplied with a bypass function, ensuring that hot water is produced immediately when domestic hot water is drawn. The temperature in the bypass loop is adjusted for optimum comfort and economy. The unit is supplied as standard prepared for connection to a domestic hot water circulation system.
Domestic Hot Water Circulation
The unit is prepared for circulation. Domestic hot water systems with circulation provide hot water at the tapping point without waiting time and without water wastage. The circulation temperature is adjusted independently of the unregulated domestic hot water temperature. This provides comfort, lower standby losses, and thereby improved district heating economy.
Note: Akva Lux II TDv med AVE differential pressure controller cannot be used in systems with circulation. If there is circulation in the domestic hot water system, the AVE differential pressure controller must be removed before connecting the circulation system.
Service- and Installation-Friendly
A practical arrangement and compact assembly of the components make the unit easy to service and install.Installation is quick and simple. The unit is wall-mounted, and all pipes are positioned at a distance from the wall, making it possible to achieve neat and orderly pipework.
