VX Solo 22
Application
The VX Solo 22 is made in a compact design and is especially suitable for supply of heating for small properties and apartment houses. The substation is suitable for two pipe systems. The substation features a plate heat exchanger for the heating circuit and is prepared for connection to a domestic hot water cylinder. The VX Solo 22 is available in two basic variants, - one variant with Danfoss ECL 310 for control of the heating circuit (VX Solo 22 H (OP), and another variant with Danfoss ECL 310 for control of both the heating as well as the DHW cylinder circuits (VX Solo 22 HWP). The VX Solo 22 variants offer capacities ranging from 44 to 110 kW heating and 13 to 75 kW domestic hot water. Connection pipes for domestic hot water cylinder (DHW)
As standard the VX Solo 22 is supplied with primary connection pipes for DHW cylinder, with or without actuator and electronic control of the cylinder circuit.
Heat exchanger for heating
The heat exchanger used in the VX Solo 22 HWP is a brazed, highly efficient Danfoss plate heat exchanger, which has been tested and approved according to the PED directive.
Reading and setting
All thermometers are placed so they are easy to read.Components, which can be adjusted, are easily accessible.
Service or maintenance
The substation is very service friendly due to practical piping and assembly with nuts and gaskets.It is mounted on the wall and as all pipes are placed in pipe bracket distance, it is possible to establish a nice piping.

The VX Solo II H2WP is a district heating substation with high performance and excellent user comfort. It is particularly suitable for two-pipe systems and systems with floor heating.
District Heating (DH)
On the primary side, the substation includes insert and sensor pockets for a heat meter, as well as a strainer, thermometer and ball valves.
Heating (HE)
On the secondary side of the plate heat exchanger, there are two heating circuits: one for radiators and one for floor heating. Both heating circuits consist of a circulation pump, strainer, thermometer, check valve and ball valves.The supply temperature of the heating circuits is weather-compensated and controlled by a Danfoss ECL 310/A260 electronic controller in combination with an electric actuator connected to the controller. Depending on the application, whether floor heating or radiator heating, different heat exchanger sizes are used.
Domestic Hot Water (DHW)
The substation is designed on the primary side for connection to a domestic hot water storage tank. The storage tank temperature is controlled via a combination valve.

For floor heating control, the substation is equipped on the primary side with a VMV three-way valve and a Danfoss AMV actuator connected to the electronic controller. Depending on the application, whether floor heating or radiator heating, different heat exchanger sizes are used.

The substation is designed on the primary side for connection to a domestic hot water storage tank. Temperature in the storage tank is controlled by an external temperature controller.
VXi Solo HWP
The VXi Solo H (ECL 310/A230) is a fully insulated substation featuring high performance and simple operation. VXi Solo H is especially suitable for two-pipe systems and systems with floor heating. The heating circuit is controlled by electronic temperature controller Danfoss ECL 310/A230.

VXi Solo HWP (A337)
The VXi Solo HWP (ECL 310/A237) is a fully insulated, indirect district heating/cooling compact station with one heating circuit and an additional connection for a domestic hot water storage tank in the primary circuit. It is suitable for systems with radiators and underfloor heating. The station is equipped with weather-compensated control.
District heating (DH)
On the primary side includes a fitting for heat meters in the district heating return line, sensor pockets for heat meters, a dirt trap, thermometers, a differential pressure regulator with flow limiter AVBP-F, a VS2 two-way valve, and ball valves.
Heating (HE)
On the secondary side consists of a stainless steel plate heat exchanger, a safety valve, an expansion vessel, a dirt trap, thermometers, a pressure gauge, a circulation pump, and ball valves. The radiator heating circuit is controlled by the primary-side VS2 two-way valve together with the AMV 150 actuator, and the temperature is regulated by an electronic controller (ECL 310/A237). Differently sized heat exchangers are used depending on the application. Type XB 06H-26 and type XB 06H-40 heat exchangers are used for radiators, and type XB 06L-24 for underfloor heating. A safety valve and an actuator with a safety function are available as options for underfloor heating.
Domestic hot water (DHW)
The VXi Solo HWP is supplied with a domestic hot water storage tank connection on the primary side. The storage tank temperature is optionally regulated by an automatic thermostatic control valve or the Danfoss ECL controller with an optionally available motorized control valve.
