Akva Lux II TDe is a fully insulated, complete unit for domestic hot water and heating in direct heating systems, suitable for properties with 1–4 apartments. The units are specifically designed for larger projects where special requirements for protection against limescale and typical project conditions make price and quality decisive factors.
Description
Akva Lux II TDe is supplied with a plate heat exchanger for domestic hot water of type XB 06H-1 26, XB 06H-1 40, or XB 06H-1 60, a Danfoss PTC2+ domestic hot water controller, a JVR thermostat for controlling the bypass/circulation temperature, safety and check valves on the cold-water inlet, shut-off valves, a TD controller, strainers, and shut-off valves with connections for district-heating supply and return.The unit is prepared for domestic hot water circulation. As standard, it includes a circulation set, a Danfoss differential pressure controller, and a booster for pressure regulation in areas with low differential pressure.The units are supplied without temperature control for the heating circuit and must therefore be connected to an external heating control system with weather-compensation functionality.Please note that the unit is supplied with pipe connections as standard. However, a mounting plate and pipe set can be installed, allowing pipe connections to be made from above.
Water Heater
The water heater is based on a brazed, high-efficiency plate heat exchanger, type XB 06H, and is equipped with a pressure- and thermostatically controlled domestic hot water controller, Danfoss PTC2+ with an energy-saving function.This means that when the draw-off of domestic hot water stops, the regulator immediately closes the district-heating flow. As a result, both standby losses and scaling in the heat exchanger are reduced. The plate heat exchanger remains cold when no water is being drawn, keeping heat loss to a minimum.
By-pass (Thermostatic Bypass)
The unit is supplied with a by-pass, ensuring that hot water is produced immediately when domestic hot water is drawn off. The temperature in the bypass loop is adjusted for optimum comfort and economy.The unit is supplied as standard prepared for domestic hot water circulation.
Domestic Hot Water Circulation
The unit is prepared for circulation. Hot water circulation ensures hot water at the tapping point without waiting time and without water wastage.The circulation temperature is adjusted according to the regulated domestic hot water temperature. This ensures comfort, lower supply temperatures and thereby improved heating economy.Please note that Akva Lux II TDe with differential pressure controller cannot be used with domestic hot water circulation.
Installation of District Heating Meter
The district heating meter can be installed in the district heating return line or supply line, alternatively in both supply and return lines for leak monitoring.
Service- and Installation-Friendly
An intelligent arrangement and compact assembly of components make the unit easy to service and install.The unit is wall-mounted, and all pipes are located close to the rear wall. It is therefore possible to establish neat pipework.
