VX 22 (A266)

Fully insulated piping installation for domestic hot water and heating in indirect systems. Domestic hot water is produced using the instantaneous flow principle. Supplied as a wall-mounted solution with an insulated casing.

Application
The VX 22 is a compact and space-saving district heating unit with a capacity suitable for supplying smaller buildings and apartment blocks with both heating and domestic hot water. The VX 22 is available in two versions. One version is equipped with a Danfoss ECL Comfort 310/A230 controller for weather-compensated heating control only, while the other version features a Danfoss ECL Comfort 310/A266 controller for managing both the heating circuit and the domestic hot water circuit. The VX 22 is available with heating capacities of 25–75 kW (27–37 kW for instantaneous systems) and 45–90 kW for domestic hot water production. Control System
The VX 22 is supplied with brazed Danfoss heat exchangers for heating and domestic hot water, motorized or motorized control valves, shut-off valves, check valves, safety valves, an energy-efficient pump, circulation pump, heat meter, sensor pockets and a differential pressure controller. Motors and pumps are factory-wired and supplied with a plug for connection to 220 V. The control system is prepared for WebAccess, allowing remote monitoring and control via the internet/intranet. It is factory-tested and pre-configured. The unit is supplied with an insulated casing and an adapter piece for a district heating meter.

Domestic Hot Water Circulation
As standard, the VX 22 is equipped with an energy-efficient pump for domestic hot water circulation and can be connected directly to existing domestic hot water systems with circulation. In new installations, domestic hot water circulation ensures that hot water is immediately available at draw-off points, providing maximum comfort while reducing water wastage.

Heat Exchangers
The heat exchangers used in the VX 22 are high-efficiency, copper-brazed Danfoss heat exchangers that have been tested and approved in accordance with the PED Directive.

Reading and Adjustment
All thermometers are positioned for easy reading. Control components are readily accessible.
