An indirect substation is used when district heating network conditions, such as pressure and temperature, do not allow direct connection. When a substation is connected indirectly, a heat exchanger provides energy-efficient heat transfer. It also ensures that the primary network supply side and the secondary building installation side remain safely separated.

The DSP MINI is designed for use in district heating networks, suitable for heating and for providing DHW for single family houses. It provides an alternative solution to an oil or gas boiler. The DSP MINI is designed for heating, domestic hot water and floor heating. The wall-mounted construction saves space which is needed for installation and service. The DSP MINI is designed as a wall-mounted sta tion. Each station is equipped with micro plate heat exchangers for DHW and optional for heating manufactured by Danfoss, which significantly increase substation performance and lifetime. All components are placed at the front of the station, which makes it very easy to access them during maintenance or servicing. The mounting bracket significantly reduces the time required to mount the substation to the wall. The connections are predefined and allow installers to prepare installation before station is available on the site, which reduces the time between delivery and startup.

Termix Compact 28 VX-FI-PS
Space heating with buffer
The Termix Compact 28 VX-FI-PS is a heat exchanger unit, ready for buffer-tank connection, for the production of heating in large buildings such as sports centres, schools, blocks of flats etc. where the supply line is to small for peek demand. It can be used for connection to indirect district heating in places where the district heating plant requires a hydraulic break on the plant side. It is also suitable for conversion to district heating when the secondary heating system is unsuitable for being connected to direct district heating or when a particularly effective security against leakage in the heating system is required.
Efficient heat exchanger
The substation is fitted with an efficient plate heat exchanger, which ensures the most favourable heat extraction and achieves optimum comfort and operating economy.
Several variants
Termix Compact 28 VX-FI-PS is built with a heat exchanger for space heating, flow controller (AVQM = self-acting flow controller with integrated with integrated control valve), PWM pump, electronic regulation of the heating circuit. 2 Sensor for a buffer-tank. Pipe connection can be made from either the top or bottom, which makes this solution highly flexible. At the same time, both space and time are saved when installing.
