Semi-hermetic filter driers
The Filter drier is a vital element of the system’s reliability as well as its lifespan. These Filter driers are with the a semi-hermetic core type. The core makes the Filter drier absorb water and acids more effectively to prevent corrosion of the compressor’s metal surfaces and ensure that oil and refrigerant do not decompose.
Solid core construction
The different core types available are:
- 48-DC for HCFC and CFC air conditioning systems
- 48-DM for HFC air conditioning systems
- 48 DA for acid adsorption after burnout
- 48-F strainer for retaining dirt
Furthermore, the DCR filter drier program meets the demanding requirements of high working pressures when operating with R410A and CO2.
With the DCR filter drier range you will benefit from a long lifetime due to high moisture adsorption, efficient dirt filtration, and acid adsorption where relevant.

DCR / DCRE
Danfoss ELIMINATOR® filter driers with replaceable solid core, type DCR, are for use in liquid and / or suction lines in refrigeration, freezing and air-conditioning systems.
Besides being able to meet the demanding requirements of high working pressure levels when operating with R410A thanks to replaceable solid cores the DCR programme offers flexibility with respect to different applications.
Available with copper connections. DCRE programme offers to be used with flammable refrigerants A2L, Group .
DCR C
Danfoss ELIMINATOR® filter driers with replaceable solid core, type DCR C, are for use in liquid / suction lines in refrigeration and air-conditioning applications.
They offer a high system reliability by design and performance with a high flow rate
All solid cores have an optimized uniform grain size ensuring effective dirt removal and low pressure drop. The robust solid cores withstand pressure surge and vibration.
DCR CO₂
Danfoss ELIMINATOR® filter driers with replaceable solid core, type DCR, are for use in liquid and / or suction lines in CO2 refrigeration systems.
They offer a high system reliability by design and performance with a high flow rate, in a lightweight shape.
All solid cores have an optimized uniform grain size ensuring effective dirt removal and low pressure drop. The robust solid cores withstand pressure surge and vibration.
