Akva Lux VXe with safety DHW
Application
This variant of Akva Lux II VXe is a fully insulated district heating substation for indirect heating and instantaneous domestic hot water, featuring high performance and simple operation. The Akva Lux II VXe covers both the DHW and heating requirements of large and small single-family houses and is also suitable for large projects.
Heat exchanger for DHW heating
The substation is based on a brazed, highly efficient plate heat exchanger, which is controlled by a thermostatic and pressure controlled PTC2+P DHW controller. The Danfoss PTC2+P DHW controller with integrated differential pressure controller and energy saving function ensures that the heat exchanger is cold during standby. Motorized control valve VM2 with actuator with safety function and safety thermostat protect DHW circuit from high temperatures.
Bypass (thermostatic circulation)
The substation supplied with a thermostatically controlled bypass, which ensures that hot water is produced immediately, when tapping starts. The bypass temperature is set with due consideration of the best DHW comfort and energy savings balance. DHW recirculation can be easily added to the substation when it is required.
Domestic hot water recirculation
The substation is prepared for connection to systems with DHW recirculation. Switching to DHW recirculation is possible from a constructional point of view, requiring only mounting of a separate circulation set (see options). The circulation temperature is set independently of the set DHW temperature. This ensures the best possible DHW comfort, very low standby losses and return temperature and thus a very good district heating economy.
Mounting of heat meter
The substation is equipped with ¾” fitting pieces in the DH return flow for fitting of a heat meter.
Service and maintenance
The substation is very service-friendly and easy to install. It is mounted on the wall and as all pipes are placed in pipe bracket dis-tance, it is possible to establish a nice pip-ing. The removable cover plate in the front allows easy access to the specially designed chamber where most frequently used com-ponents such as ECL310 and PTC2+P are lo-cated. The easy access chamber enables fast-er commissioning and maintenance with-out removing the whole cover of the substation. Calculator of the heat meter can also be mounted into this chamber for easy reading.
DSA2 HOME
The DSA HOME is designed for use in high-parameter district heating networks. Suitable for heating single houses. It provides an alternative solution to an oil or gas boiler. The DSA Home is designed for heating or heating and domestic hot water. The wall-mounted construction saves space needed for installation and servicing.

DSA2 WALL
The DSA WALL is designed for use in high-parameter district heating networks. Suitable for heating single and multifamily houses and commercial and industrial buildings. It provides an alternative solution to an oil or gas boiler. The DSA WALL is designed for heating, domestic hot water and floor heating. The wall-mounted construction saves space needed for installation and servicing.

EvoFlat VX-F FH
The VX-F is a compact flat station distinguished by high performance and ease of operation. The EvoFlat VX-F station is particularly suitable for two-pipe systems with underfloor heating supplied by a central heat generator in multi-family buildings. The VX-F FH stations can be used either independently or in combination with a VX-F heating circuit manifold with 2 to 12 heating circuits.
Primary side
The station is supplied with heating water from a heat source. The Flat station is factory‑equipped with a domestic hot water thermostat, differential pressure controller, strainer, summer bypass (FJVR), M10 sensor holder, and a fitting for the installation of a heat meter.
Secondary side
The secondary side consists of a plate heat exchanger, safety valve, pressure gauge, expansion vessel, and circulation pump.
To regulate the supply temperature to the secondary side, a temperature controller of type FTC is used. The EvoFlat VX-F FH is equipped with a safety temperature limiter (55 °C) and a RA‑C zone valve with a TWA thermal actuator, which prevents further heat supply in the event of overheating.
Domestic Hot Water (DHW)
Domestic water heating is carried out using a heat exchanger in a flow‑through principle. The domestic water temperature is regulated by the automatic controller type TPC‑M. This combination controller offers exceptional user convenience by functioning as both a hydraulic and a thermostatic valve.
The flow‑controlled section allows primary and secondary side flow through the heat exchanger only during domestic hot water draw‑off. Immediately after the draw‑off ends, the flow is shut off. The thermostatic section, on the other hand, regulates the domestic hot water temperature. The TPC‑M controller ensures a constant domestic hot water temperature even in the presence of fluctuating supply temperatures and differential pressures.
EvoFlat VX-F R
The VX-F is a compact flat station distinguished by high performance and ease of operation. The EvoFlat VX-F station is particularly suitable for two-pipe systems with radiator heating supplied by a central heat generator in multi-family buildings.
The VX-F R stations are for connecting radiators.
To regulate the supply temperature a temperature controller of type FTC is used.

Termix VVX-B HWP
Application
The Termix VVX-B is a complete solution for hot water and space heating with optimal safety, efficient energy transfer, service-friendly construction and a compact design. The substation is used if a heat exchanger is required or on a conversion to district heating where the existing equipment is unsuitable for direct connection.
District heating (DH)
The substation is prefabricated with a differential pressure controller, valve with actuator and safety function, a fitting piece and sensor pockets for insertion of a heat meter as well as strainers and ball valves.
Heating (HE)
The heating side consists of a plate heat exchanger, safety valve, manometer, thermometers, ball valves, drain valve, air valve and circulation pump. The temperature of the heating is controlled by an electronic controller with an outdoor temperature sensor.
Domestic hot water (DHW)
The domestic hot water is prepared in the heat exchanger and the temperature is regulated with a thermostatic control valve. The patented sensor accelerator accelerates the closing of the Danfoss AVTB valve and protects the heat exchanger against overheating and lime scale formation. The sensor accelerator helps to ensure a stable hot water temperature by varying loads, flow temperatures and differential pressure without the need for readjusting the valve. The heat exchanger cools the DH water very efficiently, thereby creating a very good operating economy. The sensor accelerator and AVTB valve also works as a bypass keeping the house supply line warm. This shortens the waiting periods during summer when the heating system is in reduced operation.
