AVD (S) ist ein Druckminderer ohne Fremdenergie für den Einsatz überwiegend in Fernwärmeanlagen. Er ist drucklos offen und schließt bei steigendem Druck.
Der Regler besteht aus einem Regelventil, einem Antrieb mit einer Stellmembrane und einer Sollwertfeder.
